DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
EFFINGHAN COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Director of Marketing and Communications performs the marketing and communications functions for the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce. The Director designs, develops and manages the Chamber’s internal and external communications, builds awareness of Chamber initiatives, programs, services and benefits and effectively promotes the organization, its vision and mission to Chamber members, the business community, the public and the media. Proficiency in Microsoft office and advanced computer skills in web content management tools and graphic design software, along with relevant experience is necessary. General familiarity with the community and its activities is important.
High School diploma required, associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time position, Monday through Friday. The position may require occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend activity.
